ContentSugar Mini Reels — Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of ContentSugar Mini Reels (“Services”) provided by ContentSugar (“ContentSugar,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing Mini Reels, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Purchase & Payment
All Mini Reels services must be paid in full at checkout.
All sales are final. No refunds are offered under any circumstances once a purchase is made. Clients are encouraged to purchase only when they are prepared to proceed within the established production schedule.
2. What You’re Purchasing
Mini Reels is a productized content creation service. The package, number of deliverables, pricing, and any add-ons you purchase are confirmed in your checkout receipt / order confirmation (“Order Summary”). The Order Summary is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
3. Production Windows & Scheduling
Mini Reels shoots are produced during ContentSugar’s scheduled production windows, which occur during the 1st and 3rd weeks of each month.
Clients are required to:
complete the onboarding form in full, and
schedule and attend a required 15–20 minute Vision Call prior to production.
Failure to complete required onboarding steps may result in delays or rescheduling.
4. Late Product Arrival (Automatic Rollover)
Clients are responsible for ensuring products arrive by the stated cutoff date for their selected production window.
If products do not arrive on time, the project will automatically roll to the next available production window (1st or 3rd week). ContentSugar is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier issues, or inaccurate shipping information provided by the Client.
5. Rescheduling & Cancellations
All Mini Reels purchases are non-refundable. Cancellations with refunds are not permitted.
Clients may reschedule their production window under the following terms:
The first missed production window may be rescheduled one (1) time at no additional cost.
Any subsequent rescheduling after the first missed window will incur a rescheduling fee equal to 5% of the total project cost, due prior to confirming the new production window.
If a project is rescheduled three (3) times or more, ContentSugar reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the project. In such cases, all payments remain non-refundable.
Failure to ship products on time, failure to attend required calls, or other Client-caused delays will be treated as a missed production window.
6. Shipping & Products
Clients are responsible for all shipping costs to ContentSugar unless otherwise stated. Clients retain ownership of all physical products and assume all risk of loss or damage in transit.
ContentSugar is not liable for damage caused by shipping carriers or packaging failures.
Production Use Disclaimer: Products are handled, styled, and used during production. While reasonable care is taken, Clients acknowledge that products may experience normal wear, cosmetic damage, breakage, or loss during filming, handling, or setup. ContentSugar is not responsible for damage occurring during production use, including but not limited to spills, drops, surface wear, or functional degradation.
7. Product Return, Storage & Disposal
After production is complete, Clients must select how ContentSugar should handle their products.
Return:
Clients must provide a prepaid electronic return shipping label or link within seven (7) business days of the completion notification. ContentSugar will not process vendor returns on the Client’s behalf.
Storage:
If storage is selected—or if return instructions are not provided within seven (7) business days—products may be stored for a fee starting at $25 per month.
Disposal:
If disposal is selected, ContentSugar may dispose of products after the shoot.
If no instruction or return label is received within seven (7) business days, ContentSugar may, at its discretion, store (with fees), donate, or dispose of products. ContentSugar is not responsible for product condition after delivery completion.
8. Prohibited Items
Clients may not ship illegal, hazardous, or restricted products. ContentSugar reserves the right to refuse, dispose of, or return prohibited items at the Client’s expense.
9. Models
If model add-ons are purchased:
Model availability is limited per production day.
Client preferences may be requested but are not guaranteed.
Model fees apply per project as outlined at checkout.
ContentSugar reserves the right to substitute models based on availability.
10. Revisions & Corrections
ContentSugar is happy to correct honest technical or factual mistakes reported within seven (7) days of delivery. This includes issues such as export errors, audio glitches, formatting problems, or grammatical errors, that do not require new filming or creative re-direction.
Because Mini Reels is a creative service, decisions related to pacing, styling, concept execution, or artistic interpretation are subjective and are considered part of the approved creative direction. Requests based on creative preference, alternate concepts, additional edits, or new scenes are not considered corrections and are not included.
Any changes requested outside the scope above will require booking a new service or add-on. If no correction request is submitted within seven (7) days, all deliverables are deemed final and accepted.
11. Licensing & Usage Rights
ContentSugar retains full copyright ownership of all Mini Reels deliverables.
Upon full payment, Client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use the delivered content for:
Client websites
Email marketing
Social media (organic and paid advertising)
Not included without written approval:
Broadcast television
OTT/streaming commercials
Cinema or theatrical use
Standalone resale or redistribution
Clients may not:
resell content as standalone assets
upload content to stock libraries
use content to create templates for sale
sublicense content to third parties as independent creative assets
12. Portfolio & Marketing Use
Client agrees that ContentSugar may display deliverables and behind-the-scenes content for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless confidentiality is requested in writing prior to production.
13. Disclaimer
ContentSugar does not guarantee specific performance outcomes, including sales, engagement, or advertising results. Outcomes depend on factors outside ContentSugar’s control.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ContentSugar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by Client for the Services.
15. Force Majeure
ContentSugar is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, supply chain disruptions, or carrier delays.
16. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration. Client waives the right to participate in class actions or jury trials, consistent with applicable law.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any arbitration or legal proceeding permitted under these Terms shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
